“Panchayat Season 1” In-Depth Review | Story | Cast | Characters | Where to Watch

For the first time ever in the history of online series, a show has been created that beautifully captures life in Indian villages.

The story of Panchayat revolves around Abhishek Tripathi, who accepted a secretary job in a village office in Fulera, Uttar Pradesh, with an average salary.

He runs into both good and bad situations in the village, but he is unsatisfied with his lifestyle there because it is different from the city and the corporate environment, and his low salary.

Let’s examine each of the series’ different aspects one by one:

Panchayat Season 1 Story

The episodes’ structure makes each one feel like a mini-story even if the plot develops in each one thanks to little happenings in Abhishek’s life that are unique to it. This is what makes the story special.

The short stories accurately capture rural life and village life in one concise package. Examples include:

1. In the villages, the bride’s side is expected to serve the groom and he is treated like a king, especially on the marriage day.
2. Despite the fact that their wife is formally elected to the positions, the males handle all of the government work.
3. There are a lot of superstitions in the villages.
4. In the villages, people are generally friendly, but they can also be very judgmental.

The story succeeds in telling the stories of village life through Abhishek’s eyes. You often find yourself feeling sorry for Abhishek or happy for him.

The plot is really well written overall. You won’t be bored in any part of the show. Extra praise should be given to the author because writing a novel about a town required much research and was not an easy task.

Panchayat Season 1 Cast Acting

Even if there aren’t many TVF actors in this series, other outstanding actors give it the same vibe and perfection as a TVF series.

Jitendra Kumar once again compels us to praise his acting skills.  He is a really expressive actor who reacts to every situation in a way that feels very relatable. He carries all emotions beautifully, whether they are anger, frustration, or happiness.

Raghubir Yadav was the actor who, in my opinion, stood out in the production. He has done a fantastic job portraying his role as the village head.

His character often finds himself in a difficult spot where he is unsure of the best course of action, and he handles it exceptionally effectively.

Also, the small humorous lines and his conversations with his wife are very good.

Chandan Roy(Vikas), Faisal Malik (Prahlad), and Neena Gupta have done their parts well.

Panchayat Music and Soundtrack

Awesome music has been a blessing for the series. If you binge-watch the series, you will become addicted to the theme music, which will begin to play in your head on its own. The final episode has the lovely song Zindagi Tu Ek Paheli Hai, which is excellent. Additionally, apart from that, the series has some fantastic background music tracks that greatly improve the experience of watching it.

The series’ new fantastic melodic soundtrack was composed by Anurag Saikia!
