Black Panther “Wakanda Forever” Hit Or Flop! Day 1 Box Office Earning
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” or “Black Panther 2,” has finally been released in theatres around the world. And based on the advance bookings, it looks like it will be a big hit in India.
It has been made available in India in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie is 2hr 44mins long, which is 164mins. The Chadwick Boseman-led prequel made 52.53 Cr in India and was considered a success.
Now, the second Black Panther movie, Wakanda Forever, is expected to make twice as much money as the first one.
Black Panther Wakanda Forever Budget and Screen Counts
Black Panther 2 is said to cost $150 million to make (INR 1250 crores approx). Reports say that it has been shown on about 2500 screens in India, which is about the same as Thor 4. But it’s still not clear if it will get off to a record-setting start in India like the last one did or not.
This year, only two Hollywood movies, Doctor Strange 2 and Thor 4 made more than 100 crore net. And now everyone will always look at Wakanda.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever Advance Bookings
On the first day, about 1.60 lakh tickets were sold for the movie. It has made a little less than 5 Cr from pre-sales, which is a lot less than Thor 4’s first day of ticket sales but more than a lot of Bollywood’s big movies.

Considering how many people in India like Marvel movies, it will make a good amount from spot bookings. Early estimates say that Black Panther 2 will open with between 8 and 10 Cr in India.
But it remains to be seen if it can make more money than the first day of Jurassic: World Dominion (Rs. 8 cr) and become the third highest-grossing opening of 2022 in India.
